What. A. Day. I'm so tired, and I don't even think that I did too much of anything. We went swimming today, all four of us, with Becca and Juddy and Say-Say. Maybe that's why I'm so tired. Plus, Jacob and I stayed up late watching a movie, but every time I stay up late I remember the next morning that Easton and Teagan never sleep in. Tomorrow Jacob will get up with the boys so that I can sleep in. Such a nice guy.
Jacob and I took the boys out to dinner tonight at TGI Friday. Teagan is so hard to take to a restaurant. He's all over the place, so as soon as we sit down I just want to get the heck out of there. Easton told the waiter that he looked handsome. He's such a sweetheart, but I'm not sure that I feel okay with Easton telling boys they are handsome. He tells Jacob that all the time, but that's okay. Not random strangers. I might be worried except that yesterday morning he was watching a movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar (Scooby Doo), and every time he sees her he just keeps saying how beautiful she is. This time he said, "Oh, mom, she is just so beautiful, I want to kiss her on the mouth." Not yet, Easton. Not even close to yet.
I need to start taking my camera with me so that I have pictures to post with my daily journaling. I'll try to keep it handy. My friend Kim has the best blog. She's so good at journaling and documenting her family's time together. I'll try to be better for my own sake. But here are a few pictures from Teagan enjoying his popsicle. He sure loves popsicles, and I love that something stops him from crying for just a moment.
Well I'm so tired, and I'm so grateful for that warm cozy bed calling my name in the other room, so I'm going to go lay on it. Night!
