Oh what a day! What a weekend actually. We went to the river yesterday with my dad, Bec and Jud, and Anthony and Geana. We took our kiddos minus Sadie cause she woulda been a cry face the whole time. The boys had SO MUCH FUN!!! They played in the freezing river like it was warm water. Didn’t mind it one bit. My dad was so happy that we were all out there. And we had a blast. We’ll definitely be doing that a few more times this summer. My dad actually had so much fun with all the kids that he didn’t even fish except for the last half hour we were there. He helped Easton catch a trout, and Easton just loved that. Wanted to take Mr Trout home and put him in the bath tub. But instead Grandpa showed him how to gut the fish so we could take it home and eat it. Easton can’t wait to eat his trout. He loves fish. Eating them, catching them, playing with them. Teags did great out there. It really was a great time. I love spending time like that in the great outdoors with my family. Couldn’t ask for a better day. Easton said at one point, “ It’s so beautiful and quiet out here.” Very observant for a 4-year-old.
And today was a long hot day. I shot a wedding in the 100 degree heat. Jacob took care of the boys all day. He always does so much with them and for them when I’m off taking pictures. He’s such a wonderful man. I am a blessed woman. I love my 3 boys!
