This morning Jacob went to his friend’s house to use his tools to cut down our table. I am in love with how it turned out, and it took him about an hour with the help of his friend.
Here is the after and before of the table. I have to finish sanding and painting the bench this week. I’m so excited to finish this project. My old table makes a darling bench. I love it.
Here is my new table with the unfinished bench. I will post another pic next week after I get it sanded and painted. I really love how the legs look. And now my table can seat 7, so we can even have people over for dinner.
Now for the rest of the day I’m just cleaning the bathrooms that didn’t get cleaned on Thursday because I was visiting teaching, and tonight I have my friend Ashley Peterson’s wedding reception. I would work on the bench but it is raining and blowing like a hurricane. So no sanding today.
