I just realized that most of my recent posts said March in the title. It’s clearly April, so I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Today after dropping Easton off at school, I came back home and got ready to go to the bank and Target. I needed to get a couple more bottles, so that was my excuse for going to Target. I also got the older boys some flip flops since it’s getting warm out, and last year’s flip flops are too small. After Target I came home and got lunches ready for the boys and fed Logan before picking Easton up from school and heading over to the potluck and play in my neighborhood with some of the ladies in my ward. We were there for a couple of hours, and it was honestly so nice to be out in the warm sun talking with my friends and feeling normal again. My little Logan got a tiny sunburn, though, even though I only had him in the sun while I was feeding him his bottle. It didn’t seem that warm out, but when we came home I could tell his little nose and cheekbones had gotten some sun.
After the picnic, I did school work with Easton and put a chicken on the stove for dinner. Logan did pretty well today with sticking to his schedule. The older and less sleepy he gets, the more he’ll adhere to the routine, but for now we are just working on getting him to be awake more in the day. After dinner, Uncle Jayden came over to hang out and see the boys. He was all alone and bored so he decided to come by and eat some dinner. Patti went to Provo to pick up Jacob’s sister Janea from BYU. Her semester is over so she will be home for the summer. I know the boys will be happy that she is home – they love her.
Tomorrow we are going to hang out with Becca and Sadie at Coleen’s house. The boys will probably hop in the pool with Sadie, and it will just be fun for them to be outside. And I always love hanging out with my sister. I have mutual tomorrow night, so Jacob will hang out with the boys while I am gone for an hour and a half. Well, Logan is sleeping and I need to get my scriptures read while I can, so I’m off to bed.
