Today was a busy Saturday! I worked out, visited Whole Foods, took the boys to their cousin Noah’s birthday party and then went to Enduro Cross with Jacob and Easton and some friends of ours. I am so pooped.
But when I put Easton to bed he said his sweet little prayers like he always does and blessed all the world not to have bad dreams. I love the innocence of a child’s prayer. And I love how much faith he has when he prays that he won’t have bad dreams. He’s sure he won’t after he’s said his prayers. I love it. I could spend my life wrapped up in endless cuddles with Easton. He is so sweet and so near and dear to my heart. For a long time it was just the two of us, and there’s a bond that he and I share that is unique to us. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I love my sweet Easton.
Teagan is spending the night at my parents’ tonight. They are such wonderful grandparents, always willing to watch the boys so that I can get a break. My little Teags was so cute in the swimming pool today. His feisty little personality is my favorite and least favorite when he’s throwing tantrums.
But I love my kiddos. Individually and uniquely. Wouldn’t trade our love for anything, not ever.
