Sleepless Nights

Will I ever sleep through the night again? I forgot about how TRULY and COMPLETELY TIRED you are after you have a baby. Newborns should come out sleeping through the night. That's one complaint I'm going to take up with God when I meet Him. I guess Teagan isn't a horrible sleeper but waking up every 3 hours seems like a bit much to me. Easton started sleeping through the night at 4 1/2 weeks so I'm praying that Teagan is equally as angelic as his big brother, especially since I'm having to take care of this baby on my own. My sweet mom did take the night shift last night so that I could get one night of sleep. I haven't slept through the night except for the night that Teagan was still in the hospital. I think that people that have a lot of kids are crazy. That's what I've decided. I'm a sleeper. It's what I do. So to not sleep just makes me feel crazy and exhausted all day. Moms around the world, how do we do it? How do we continue on day after day without a good night's rest? We are champs!

I feel you. I haven't had a complete nights sleep for over 5 months. Katelee is getting better but still no more than 5-6 hours at a time! One day I'm going to wake up and its going to be morning...And I'm sure I will still be tired! :) Hang in there somehow we make it through each day just fine!

You poor girl! I put my time in with my girls and loving that Cole is a sleeper. Not to brag or anything:) This too shall pass.
I started looking for outfits for our pics but Darren would like to wait 3-4 weeks for them. (he thinks he's gonna lose lots of weight before then)
And, super long comment... are you and Becca on for thursday night?

Just a few days ago, David slept through the night for the first time!! I think that is the hardest thing about babies, but take heart your body does adjust a little.

That is the hardest part about having a baby for me too. People always talk about how much they love newborns but I don't like them until they start sleeping thought the night. I feel so out of it if I don't get enough sleep. Hang in there!

I Know just how you feel! Colter(28 Months) has slept through the night 4 nights this past week! YEAH! I thought I would die before he decided to finally sleep! I just hope he keeps it up. Hang in there...I am sure that Teagan will start sleeping soon!

All though I am passed the new born stage....I totally am feeling for you. Lacey has been up this week with her teeth and I am cranky during the day because not enough sleep. She is very clicky and makes me rock her to sleep. No more putting her in her crib this week. Hopefully when this passes she will go back to the other rutine...but yes it all shall pass. You mom is a sweetheart. Tell her I said that. Love ya

amen! that was nice of your mom to take the night shift. i need sleep too, i'm not a napper during the day. and other kids kinda make that impossible... keep hanging in there. if it makes you feel better, i'm still not sleeping straight through either... and she's 5 months old!
