Nothing Much, Just a Monday

Well there's nothing too exciting going on here today. Just hung out, did some laundry, and took care of my boys, but I did just a few shots before Teagan started crying. He is adorable, and I've decided that Adam and I make beautiful children. Okay, fine, I guess God does have some part in it, right :)?

Yesterday morning I was putting my makeup on, and Easton wanted to put some on. We've had this conversation on other mornings. I told him, "Easton, makeup is for girls." But Easton's argument is always,"But I want to make me boo-iful like a girl." He doesn't really mean it - he's all boy, but he always makes me laugh when he says it.

Easton is very fickle these days. He takes his friendship away from me about a thousand times a day, and he also stops loving me, too. All he ever says is, "I not your best friend anymore" and "I not yuv you no more. You're grumpy!" But he's all talk cause he always gives it all back. It's such a fun age that he's at. He's always doing such interesting things, and it makes for a lot of laughter on my part.

I'm really enjoying these two amazing little boys of mine. I felt like Easton's newborn stage was just a blur, so I'm really trying to appreciate all of the moments that I have with Teagan - I love that sweet little mouth of his with the sweetest smelling little baby breath, and his scrunchy face when he's trying to wake up. I love the way he holds his little mouth in a circle and looks up into his mama's eyes and smiles or just stares for minutes at a time. And no matter what his little legs are always pulled up tight to his chest, no matter how I hold him - it's like he's permanently stuck in this squishy little ball. So cute! I could just stare at him for hours if I had nothing else to do. I am so grateful to be a mother. There is nothing else like it.
