Could have been a disaster!
I went upstairs for about 3 minutes and left Teagan sleeping on the couch with Easton watching tv. I was straightening up the bathroom when I heard Easton come up the stairs saying, "He needs to go in his bed." I figured he was talking about Monkey, until I heard a little Teagan sounding noise. I jumped up, ran into my room and Teagan was on my bed! My three-year old had carried my one week old baby up the stairs and onto my bed. UP THE STAIRS!!!! Teagan's little life flashed before my eyes. Heavenly Father must have been watching out for my baby because Easton can barely get himself up the stairs without stumbling or being goofy. It is a miracle that they are both okay and that Teagan wasn't dropped by his helpful older brother. Teagan might just have to get a restraining order against Easton.

OH NO! How scary is that!!! I'm so glad they're both o.k. The other day when I came over and held Teagan he was just a little rag doll in my arms so I have NO IDEA how Easton managed to hold him up the stairs!!!! CRAZY
Yes, that hppened to Madi. One of Max's little buddies took her out of her swing and carried her down the hall into my bathroom where he hit her head on the door frame and then when she cried he put her in her carseat which was close by. I nearly had a heart attack! She was a newborn...thank goodness everything was okay! He is a serious doll!!!
Oh, but not a doll that can be carried around by his brother yet!!! ;)
That sounds familiar. I can't believe any of my kids survived their helpful siblings.
oh my GOSH- ya I hear all kinds of crazy scary stories of when mommies literally turn their backs for 2 min! I'm gonna have to install cams or something..
Okay, so that is a really scary story (and reading it gave me horrible visions of what my boys could do to our upcoming baby), but I also think it's kind of sweet that Easton cared enough to bring him to bed. What a thoughtful older brother.
Oh my word! That is so funny (only because we know how it turned out!). What a good little helpwe you have.
