Wednesday, February 8th

Yesterday the boys and I went to a fellow photographer’s house so that she (Brooke) and I could make CD sleeves for our digital images. Brooke and I have been facebooking each other since before Christmas trying to plan a time to get together and make them. I took some pictures of her before and sent them to her, and as soon as she got them she messaged me and asked where I got my CD sleeves. I’ve been making them since I went to WPPI last year. Anyway, I told her I’d show her how to make them, so that’s what we did. She has a son that’s just 3 months older than Easton, and I was so happy that they were able to play. The boys played in his room with all his legos and jumped on their awesome trampoline and played the Wii while we were there for a few hours. It was so nice to just chat and craft with Brooke and to see the boys having so much fun with her son Noah. We finally left her house at about 4pm and got home close to 5. She’s way across town. When we left, Easton walks out their door and says, “That is the funnest place ever. Let’s go there again tomorrow.” I’m always happy when he gets to play with a boy his age because I feel like everyone I know has girls his age or boys at least a couple years younger but no-one that’s the same age. So we will definitely get together with them again.

After Jacob got home from work, we headed to Costco to pick up a few things that we needed. We ate dinner there and then came home. The boys always like going to Costco because they get frozen yogurt after we eat dinner. And they like to eat free samples.

This morning I went to Easton’s class to help out. I spent the morning helping the students make Valentine’s butterflies. They are funny kids. One of the girls walked right up to me and put her hands on my belly and started talking to Logan and kissing my belly, trying to listen to him. She was really funny. She didn’t care one bit that she didn’t know me at all. I didn’t mind, I thought she was sweet. I was a big hit with the pregnant belly. After school, I picked Teagan up from Melisa’s and the boys and I ran to the store and to get some Chinese for lunch. The boys love to play at Melisa’s, even though she has all girls. Her youngest little girl, Lily, is Easton’s absolute favorite. He’s always telling me how she’s the cutest little girl in the world, and he just loves to pick her up and twirl her around when he sees her. She about 18 months, and she really is darling, but I love all her girls. The younger two are coming over on Friday to play while Melisa goes to a baby shower. The boys will love it.

I put two poly coats on my bench today. It’s drying in the kitchen now, so it will be ready for use tomorrow.  It is finally done. After Jacob got home from work, we ate dinner quickly, and then I left with another girl in my ward to go work at the cannery. I ordered some apple slices, and those things are like candy. I could eat the whole can in one sitting except that they give me a stomach ache if I eat too many. I got back from that around 8pm and hung out with the boys eating apple slices and watching them run around like monkeys with Jacob. He’s so great to watch interact with the boys. They have so much fun running around the house stealing each other’s powers and turning each other into stone. I love to see them have that kind of fun together.

Tomorrow it my mother’s birthday, so I am taking the boys and Jaedyn to lunch with her and Becca and Sadie and Coleen. We are going to Olive Garden, and it will be an adventure with four children. But it will be fun to celebrate my sweet mother’s birthday all together.
