I didn’t have any meetings this morning, and I love a Sunday morning without meetings. After church I had to fill in for Melisa for a youth committee planning meeting, but that was only for an hour, so not a big deal.
Around 5pm, we headed to my parents’ to celebrate Teagan’s birthday with them. My mom made him a cake with a lot of whipping cream for frosting, since the frosting is the only thing he cares about. He was loving every minute of us singing to him. He melts my heart.
After cake and ice cream, Teags open his present from G-Ma and G-Pa. The got him a baseball guy and a Cars toy. He also got money from them to buy some clothes or shoes. Like I said, he doesn’t need anything right now since Christmas just happened.
I love this little guy. Soon he won’t be the little man of the house anymore, and I will mourn his sudden bigness, just as I did for Easton when I brought Teags home from the hospital. But for now I will enjoy all the cuddles and snuggles and love from this amazing little boy. We all love him! Happy birthday, my sweet 3-year-old!
