Oh, Ya Know, Just Gettin' Married Today

But that's all, no biggie :). Jacob and I have been planning our mostly secret wedding for the past few weeks, and today is the day. It has finally arrived! I say "finally" when really it's only been a month of planning - not six months of being engaged like all the poor chaps out there who have to wait forever to be married. Jacob and I had initially planned on being married on April 10th, and we were going to skip out on the whole traditional reception, so we didn't have a lot to plan. While talking to my sister one day, she says to me "Well if you guys don't have to plan anything, why don't you just get married sooner and elope or something? That's what you should do." I ran that by Jacob, and we were sold. So that's what we did. Thank you, Pretty, for putting that fabulous idea into our heads. Now when people say that we're crazy, I can say "Well my sister said we could."

Anyway, happy wedding day to me. We've got my family, Jacob's family, and our absolute closest friends in attendance today. My handsome little boys are all suited up. And my sweet cousin Trish is taking our pictures, but it's a grey gloomy sky out there today so we'll be doing our formal pictures another day. We're off to Lake Tahoe tomorrow for some fun in the snow. And my babies are going to be without their mama for A WEEK!!!! Thank heaven for cell phones.
