Updates

Teagan officially pulled himself up to standing last week. At 7 months old. He loves to be walked around. It's his favorite. He's kinda unhappy if you aren't holding his hands and letting him pretend that he's big enough to walk. And he's a maniac. I think he used to sit still once, but I don't remember. There is nothing that he can't get to if he's determined that he wants it. He gets from one end of the room to the other in about 3 seconds flat, crawled up his first step last week, feeds himself (no, he doesn't make his own bottle yet - that's still all me), and can go from crawling to sitting to pulling himself up as he pleases, although he's been getting stuck standing at the baby gate. I can feel his two bottom teeth about to break through. I'm trying to document these things because I can't remember when Easton did all this stuff. But I'm pretty sure that Teagan is a bit ahead of his older brother. Not that Easton was slow. Teagan is just not satisfied with being a baby anymore. The other thing about Teag is that he is so STINKIN happy. Easton was happy, but not this happy. You can't look at Teagan without getting some cheesy grin in return. It's delightful being his mommy - I get the best smiles ALL THE TIME, but Teagan shares them with anyone who will talk to him. He's not stingy at all.

As mobile as this little booger gets, we still have the BEST night-time cuddles. He gets to bed about 10pm every night. We say prayers together (well I say em and he listens), I sing him a song and rock him while he stares sweetly into his mama's eyes, and then I lay him down and he dozes off without any tears. It's my favorite time of the day with him. I did the same thing with Easton every night when he was a baby, and we had the best time together. Easton's a giant now so I can't rock him anymore, although he would LOVE it if I would because he is SUCH a cuddler.

The boys and I are heading to San Francisco this weekend for a VACATION. I am STOKED! Easton is happy that he gets to ride on a plane. We are staying with my old bestie, Anisha, and her hubby, Ben. She's got all sorts of activities planned for us, and I will take pictures of our week's excursions, so hopefully I'll have much to post after our week is over.

I really hate doing picture-less posts, but this is all I can do for now. Sorry!Mostly I just needed to update the happenings of my little Teagers so that I can remember them when he's leaving me to go be a grown-up.
