Home At Last

Well we had lots of fun in San Francisco, but after a week of 24/7 alone time with my kids, I'm soooooo happy to be home. Teagan's two bottom teeth came completely out while we were in San Fran last week. He was a little bit hard to entertain at times because he didn't have much room to crawl around. Plus, he's kinda over the crawling thing for a little while because he's discovered that it is MUCH more fun to pull himself up and walk along the couches. He keeps pulling himself up in his crib when he's supposed to be napping, and I'll go in his room to find him stuck standing up looking over the crib. I HATE when babies get to that stage, even though it's certainly a big step in growing up, but I can't stand when I put him down for a nap and then he stands up and cries cause he's tired but can't get back down. I remember when Easton did that, and it bugged me then and still bugs me now.

But I have plenty of pics to post of our adventures in San Fran. My luggage was lost the first three days so I wore the same outfit for 3 days until I finally had to go commando in Anisha's jammies (don't worry, we're good friends) so that we could wash the one outfit and pair of undies I happened to be wearing. I still managed to have fun anyway, and eventually, three days after I arrived, I got my luggage.

Our adventures included going to the beach, walking around San Fran, cruising around Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, and spending a day at the beach in Santa Cruz. We had super nice weather 5 out of the 7 days that we were there - no fog on any of those days. The weather was super cool, which was a nice alternative to Vegas' weather, but warm enough that in the day we didn't need jackets or anything. Easton ate a lot of Anisha's food and peed on her couch just so that she could always remember that we were there. Fun times.

So all in all, we had a fun time, got to visit my good friend Anish and her husband Ben, even got a sun tan on the beach, but I am happy to be home with my fam and friends in Vegas. I don't think that I could EVER live there since San Fran seems to get a lot of fog, and cloudy fogginess is not my favorite weather.
