Easton's Dream

Easton was telling me something that happened to him, and I figured out that he must have had a bad dream.

Easton: The bad guy said Ha, ha, ha. I said, No don't punch my Mommy. I punch you! And I said, You're scary bad guy. The bad guy said, You never see your mom again! Ha ha! And I said, No! I miss Mommy. And the bad guy said, Oh I'm sorry. And the woman had scary clothes. They had germs. They had snakes on them. And the woman was gone. They went away. I said, No don't hurt my mommy. And the bad guy said Ha ha ha.

My mom and I were laughing so hard because he did the voices of whoever was talking, and he went on forever telling about the bad guy who wanted to hurt his mommy. It was sad because he thought it was real, but so cute to hear him tell the bad guys not to hurt me and that he would punch them. He told me earlier that there was a "crazy woman" in the hallway, and now I see that she must have been a part of his dream. It's so funny that little kids don't get it that dreams aren't real.

Oh, how sad is that. Cute at the same time. He is a good boy and will be a great big brother!

Scary that he is already having dreams like that. Hey, you look really cute. I am excited for you to have this baby. Good luck and know we are thinking about you!
