After Mickey D's we bribed the kids to be good while Shiloh, my sis-in-law Jen and I spent 3 hours browsing the scrapbooking selection at Michael's. I don't know if other Michaels' have done the same thing yet, but this was was totally remodeled with its own little scrapbooking store inside. A HUGE selection, nothing like before. It was pretty great. And even greater is that jen works there and got 50% off everything that we bought that was regular price this week. So we got some killer deals. Great stuff for Halloween pages. And next week we'll be having an all day girls' scrapbooking day. Can't wait! Anyway, after 3 hours at Michaels we went to the always trusty Wal-Mart and bought great big $4 pumpkins. A day of bargains for us.
Easton and cousin Jaedyn - these two are my dad's pride and joy (and my mom's too)
Little Jaedyn is having a terrifically fun b-day party this weekend with a Halloween theme. I'm so excited with all the Marth Stewart things Geana has been creating for this little lady's 1st b-day. There will be some good eats.
Shiloh's 4 didn't want to pose for the pictures. We felt like we were stealing by taking pictures here since we weren't going to be buying anything, and the owner people were carnie folks who kept giving dirty looks since we wouldn't ride there rides.
We had to get a picture of Jaedyn at the pumpkin patch for her first time. Actually, it was Easton's first time too. For some reason I never took him when we lived in Boise.
He does this a lot. These my-life-is-completely-over-because-I-didn't-get-what-I-wanted tantrums. I usually just laugh, and then I tell him to get some real problems. Kids actually stick their lower lip out. They're such funny things. He was over it in about 3.7 seconds. So we had a long, busy day, a little bit of bickering and crying among the children, but we had a fun, eventful day. I love having a sister (Becca went to the lame-o pumpkin patch too but I didn't take her picture) and sister-in-laws that are my best buds. Once again, good times.

I am dying laughing that you tell him to get some real problems! I am going to have to try that with my boys!
It was a slow beginning to what was to be a GREAT day but after a few hours we got on a roll and I had a really good day. I can't believe we were out for 8.5 hours. That's nuts. Anyway, can't wait to scrapbook....
Totally jealouse, but I guess it is my turn to be left out of things. That is crazy about the pumpkin patch prices. Someone could some money if they did a cheaper one. Its not like pumpkins cost that much. I just picked some of for the girls to decorate today and they only cost a dollar each. Oh and can you send me those pictures from the park in Arizona. I still need those ones of lacey and of the girls. Thanks
