What a fun day it was for all the kids in my family.
Jaedyn who is my brother Anthony and his wife
Geana's little girl, celebrated a very festive 1st birthday today. We chowed down on some really good grub, none of that cheese and
crakers business. My dad grilled the marinated Mexican chicken and cooked hot dogs, and then there was my granny's famous potato salad, and I made a
delish pasta salad if I do say so myself. Chips, cookies,
Geana's home-made caramel apples - it all really hit the spot, and that doesn't seem to happen for me lately.
Jaedyn was an angel, and she had on the most adorable bunny costume ever, but - let's face it people - this is Vegas, and it was 80 degrees outside.
Easton went as an oh-so-cute pirate, but he's got issues with keeping his costume on. He's my little weird one. Happy birthday to my gorgeous little niece
Jaedyn. And
Geana, great job on the party. It was a blast!
Jaedyn's first parental-approved taste of sugar. She seemed to love it. She attacked the cupcake like there was no tomorrow. If she would have been thinking about tomorrow she would have known that it would go right to her hips.

Faces like this little girl's make me wish that I had a cute little girl of my own to dote over.

She cracks me up the way she is staring at the flame in this picture.
Geana's Martha genes coming out. She made so many of the decorations and did a great job with the party. Everyone had a great time. There was a big turn-out and a lot of happily fed people.

Witches' brooms party favors. Aren't they cute? They're stuffed with candy. Adorable.
Jaedyn's cake, although she only got the cupcake on top. Made by her mommy.

The very crafty and super cute pumpkin cake that
Geana made on her own. It was so adorable, and I hear it was
delish but I was too stuffed with caramel apples to eat any.
Jaedyn opening some presents. She really loved all the tissue paper, but Mom liked the presents.

My gorgeous little cousin Kylie - soon to be my photographic specimen
Jaedyn looks so enthralled by the card that
Geana is reading.
The cutest pirate ever. My heck, I love this kid way too much. It can't be healthy. It's like
gluttony or something.
