Very Bad Boy! and other things . . .

Easton has this thing about doing bad things. He pretty much loves to do them. He found this permanent marker who knows where and in about 2 minutes managed to do this to himself, the tv, the tv stand, part of the wall, and my parents' bathroom counter. I blame it on the grandparents - he's your grandson, not mine. Now 4 days later, he still has the ink all over his legs. We managed to get the ink off his face the night he did it, but the rest of it wouldn't come off.

In other news, Teagan has become a much better sleeper and an overall joy to wake up to. he had some cranky problems until I switched his formula yet again but, of course, the child has to have the most expensive formula known to man - $25 for a small 16oz can, and he goes through 2 a week. Next time you see me I"ll be missing an arm and a leg. However, he is at least now what I would call a happy baby, and he only wakes up once a night to eat. So that's a bonus. He's super cute and oh so smily, even awake. He smiled much earlier than Easton did. He's got the best morning demeanor, smiling away when you talk to him and just happy to be up so early in the morning (Well 7:30 is early to me). I, however, am not as thrilled.

On Monday I will begin training for a marathon. Don't ask why or what is driving me to do it. Can't say for sure except that I want to be one of "those people" maybe. But my hottie dietician friend Ashley is convinced that she can train anyone to run a marathon within 5 months. Not a half marathon, but the all-out full length marathon. I told her that she couldn't possibly get me to do it, which she took as a challenge, so we'll see how this goes. But I am committing myself to do this, hence the reason I'm announcing it on my blog so that I'll feel sheepish if I back out. The marathon is in October in St. George. That's all the news I have for now. Stay tuned for more exciting news in the future :).

lol! oh. my. goodness! what a mess! and of course he couldn't have found a washable marker huh? I am glad Teagan is sleeping better and happier. I wish my son only woke up once a night! And as far as the marathon- I give you huge props.. that'll be a huge accomplishment.

Woah baby...a full marathon!!! You rock...hat is very cool!!! I want to run a marathon someday! Maybe I can get in gear and sign up for the st. george marathon too!!!
And my goodness...permanent markers scare me...around the couches, table...skin...it is hard not to laugh at the purple/black water though!!!
I am also glad that he is sleepingbetter for you. And maybe once he gets a little older and not so sensitive...maybe you can try the cheaper formula to see if he can handle it then...Porter goes through alot...but I just buy the parents choice brand at walmart...$11 for the big can...and we still spend a lot fo money!!!! Yikes...I can't even imagine your bill!!!
I miss you Rachel!!! And I am loving the look of your photo blog!

Ooh girl what formula is it? My kids have done that with permanent marker too. We don't own one any more:) And, I didn't know if you were serious or not about running on face book. That is awesome, I'm so excited for you. Maybe we can do some runs together.

DO NOT LIKE PERMANENT marker! :(
Kiera colored her entire stomach once, including deep inside her belly button...and kade drew lines down both arms and both legs. It is always great the day before church or when you have to go somewhere the next day!

Oh permanent marker!!! It's wreaked havoc around our house too - although Noah has never colored on himself with it! If you figure out a magic solution to take it off - let us know!

If anyone can get you in shape, it's Ashley! I know this from experience. When we come down in July maybe we will all have to work out together (my slow floppy post-baby body will make you feel REALLY good about yourself!).
