Let's Not Forget About Easton

Easton is my little sidekick, and I feel like it's been an adjustment having little Teagan around to take some of my attention away from Easton. And I think it's more of an adjustment for me than it is for Easton. He's just the best kid, even when he's not being good. I have the greatest time hanging out with him each day and laughing at all the little things he does and says. He grew up on me one day, and I don't know how it snuck up on me like it did. He's growing out of all his clothes, and he's become quite the stocky guy. He LOVES to play with his toys - mainly his army men. He makes them fight each other, but then I'll catch him making them say sorry to each other and hug. He's got the purest heart, and I can't seem to get enough of him. He likes girls, and often tells me about pretty women on tv: "I yike her. I want to kiss her." And today he saw a picture of a pretty celebrity and said, " Oh, I like that. That's not yucky."

I don't know if all little kids are infatuated with their siblings, but sometimes I feel like Easton is going to explode with love for his little Teagan. He tells me every day, "Just yook at him! He's so bu-iful!" And you can just tell that his little heart feels SO MUCH LOVE for his brother. It's so sweet to see.

I'm so grateful - which is just not enough of a word - for my Easton. He has filled my life with the best things any person could ever have. I used to wonder what my children would look like and what they would act like. I never envisioned how TRULY amazing it would be to watch my very own little boy grow and develop and laugh and love. I never knew how strong our bond could be. I love you so much, Easton! You are my life!
