That's Easton for you

Here he is crying cause he just likes to do that all the time. If I had a universal remote that worked on children I would probably break it from overuse. Someone should invent one of those.

These ones are pretty cute cause Easton saw his older cousins making funny faces for the camera, and he jumped up on the bed to join them. It's always cute to watch your own kids do adorable things.

And then there's the sweet face of innocent pleasure. I have to remind myslef that he's two and incapable of sin. So looking at a sweet face like this reminds of that fact.

Ever since he discovered his nostrils, he's got a finger in his nose. Drop by anytime and that's how you'll find him. At least he's grossed out by whatever he finds in there, so he always brings it to me. That's a plus.

I could kiss this face for forever. That smile just gets me.

Sometimes he is just a wierdo, no way around it.

Easton is at that age that everyone talks about and warns others about - the completely absolutely adorable boy that turns suddenly into my own personal little monster. He makes me laugh all the time, and he makes me feel so loved and needed. Then suddenly, I swear that he hates me, from the screaming at me to the kicking and punching. If looks could kill, I'd be toast cause he can look at me with fire in his eyes sometimes. But at the same time he's so innocently horrible, so there's a sort of sweetness to his meanness. Half the time he says such awful unrecognizable things to us - we can't tell what he's saying but we know it's awful - and then the other time he's swooning me with 2 year-old sweetness and kisses. It's a curious stage, these twos. I enjoy it, but I feel frustrated because I can't reason with him when he's acting really mean. I don't know where he gets the meanness from (Adam would say that's my fault, but that plain isn't true) and the kicking and throwing things. Adam and I don't act like that, so where does it come from? Susan and Shiloh, it must be your BAD kids that taught it to him:).

If you ever get your hands on a kid remote, I want one too! The nose picking thing is hilarious! I think Clayton learned that sweet habit in nursery. Fortunately it passed quickly, so hang in there. Easton is so cute! I love the pics!
