Happy New Year!

I stole these pictures from my sister-in-law's slide show, so they are kinda pixely, but you get the idea. Our hubbies left us again on New Year's Eve, so we ladies decided to get together and eat and play games. Now, one might think, "No wonder you are fat, Rachel. Stop digging in a bowl of cookie dough." But don't worry, it was only one bite. So hun, your wife is not a heiffer, though above she may appear to be. I will list my New Year's Resolutions below:

1. I will be less fat than I am. I will eat healthy and exercise so that I establish a healthy lifestyle that can be passed on to my children.

2. My hubby and I will read our scriptures TOGETHER every night. And we will actually continue what we start this year. ( You have no choice, hun!)

3. I will be a more patient mother and enjoy these terribly innocent twos that Easton is going through. I will remind myself that he is not yet sinning.

4. I will do better about managing my time and making sure that I get done the things that I am on this earth to do. It's too easy to get caught up in trivial things, and I don't want to do it.

5. I will do better about loving all those around me and in spreading the love of Christ to those I come in contact with. More time will be devoted to others and less to myself.

6. I will fold the clean clothes and not leave them in the dryer for days or on my dresser to get wrinkled. JUST KIDDING!!! That would be a lie if I promised to do that. I know it would never happen.

Well those are just some things that I hope to accomplish this year. Hopefully by the end of 2008 I'm one year better than I was the year before.

I have never seen your laundry piled up on your dresser...I know for me personally that would be one goal that would only last a week or day. Ok i will give myself atleast two days. It was a lot of fun New Years. Thanks it was a great idea.

Good New Year resolutions. Every year I make some too, and rarely keep them. But I'm totally trying to do it again.... we'll see how long that lasts. :) Cute pics too. You really don't look like you need to loose any weight, by the way.
