This morning I had made Easton some oatmeal for breakfast, and we were going to say a blessing for his food. I let him say it by himself for the first time without helping him, and at first he's just saying a bunch of stuff I didn't understand (I'm sure the Lord did). Then I hear him say Daddy and Joe and Mama and movie. I almost cried because it was the sweetest thing ever! He prayed for us all on his own. We must be doing something right.

Oh... that is too cute!! I'm sure I will cry the first time Emma offers her own prayer. It is so neat to see our children grow.. then we finally see the 'fruit of of our labor'.
Rachel,
So cute, I LOVE to hear my kids pray. I never get tired of it even thought they pray at every meal and every night before bed. Ilove to hear Macey pray for our 'pwofet Gowdon B. Hinkewey'. Max prayed once that I'd be a better mom cuz I made him come in from outside playing to eat and that's what he prayed for! Anyways, I need your salsa recipe--yours is the BEST I've ever had and fresh salsa is probably my favorite food!! Thanks for the yummy salsa! See ya!
Love, Summer
Kid prayers are the best! I always love it when Clayton prays, I think it is one of my favorite things ever!
That is great... I love to hear the kids pray whenever we have family gatherings. It makes me smile the whole time. They're just so great!!!
