Meet our new doggie. She’s a miniature schnauzer, and we haven’t named her yet, but we will. We picked her up yesterday from an old family friend, and so far she has been good. She’s a little shy, kind of timid, not a barker at all, and a good dog. She’s still getting used to us. I think she misses her other people. So I hope she feels at home here soon. We also picked Sadie up to come over and have a sleep over last night. They’ve been having a blast reeking havoc in our home. Children have the innate ability to make an absolute mess of something in under a minute, especially when they combine mess-making forces. My house is a disaster, the boys’ bedroom is covered with popcorn, but at least the baby is sleeping and the kids are having a good time. Sometimes that’s all that matters for the day. The messes can be cleaned up later. Having a dog will be a new adventure for us, but I think it will be great.
