Family Weekend

Isn't it a wonderful thing how we cage up animals for our viewing pleasure that are meant to be in the wild? And to think, we only payed $17 a person to look at the creatures that God made. Zoos are a wonderful thing.

My sister in the morning :).

We got to feed the giraffes. All the kids loved doing that. Easton thought the giraffe was hilarious with its big long tongue.

Here's my Easton giving the giraffe a bite to eat.

Poor monkey. He just wants to be free. Easton's favorite animals are monkeys, so he loved watching them.

Easton at the park. Doesn't he look just ecstatic?

He looks like a natural quarterback here. We are so proud.

Easton at the zoo. Poor guy ended up getting a high fever that day, and he's just getting over it today.

What a beautiful creature.

The fam came in town on Friday. My parents and sis and her hubby came to spend the weekend with us, since we are now only 4 1/2 hours away from them. We had a great time. We watched movies, bbq'd, ate pizza, went on a family trip to Super Target (it was pretty super), and we took Easton to the zoo. Adam and I got to play basketball and tennis with Becca and Juddy, and it's always fun to play with people who know how to play. My family is my favorite. It's funny that when you're around your teenage and college years you feel like hanging with the fam is lame, but then you get married and you all start hanging out together and double dating with your parents and siblings. My sister and my sister-in-laws are my best buds. Anyway, we didn't take a lot of pictures but I did take some at the zoo. Great fun. They all left Sunday evening after dinner at my uncle's in Glendale. Love you guys!

Fun Fun... $17.00 for the Zoo huh? Wow, That's crazy. It better of been bigger then the Las Vegas Zoo. Hahahaha... Anything's bigger then that Zoo. Photos were awesome as usual.

I love the zoo! Your pictures are really cool. The last one of the zebras is my favorite!

Easton is a natural football player! (Or at least he sure looks like it.) So cute!

Sounds like fun! Looks a lot better than the zoo here in Vegas. Hope that you have adjusted to your new home and new surroundings. Can beat the weather.

Here is something to make you a whole lot less "meridian sick"
We went to the ZOO today, and it was FREEZING, and we only saw three animals, and the sqirrel exhibit wasn't even open. Now you know if the squirrel exhibit isn't even open it is a tough day.

Easton does look like a little quarter back!! I love your zoo pictures... slightly more impressive than what we saw at the lovely Boise zoo :) By the way, I got my Easton's flip-flops at Old Navy, and I also got a cute pair at the Gap -- they were on clearence last week!
